I am missing a tooth and hide my smile
A single missing tooth is most often replaced with an implant, which does not touch the neighbouring teeth. A bridge is the alternative when an implant is not suitable. Both give a fixed tooth you clean like your own.
Leaving a gap lets the neighbours tilt and the opposite tooth drift down, which makes later treatment harder. Earlier is simpler.
